Well, I was doing so good on getting caught up there for awhile, but once again I'm incredibly far behind. Ah well, I'll just keep pluggin' along here.
One of the many things Burl loves at this point in his little life is "moo-nkeys," so when he saw this huge one at a Sears store he was fascinated.
A cute new sweater from Goodwill.
One afternoon he turned Gretchen's bed into his own personal little reading nook. :)
Ride 'em Cowboy!
Also in October....it snowed!!
It was funny to still have "Fall" up on the window, but to have a winter wonderland outside.
The kids had to check it all out as soon as they woke up.
Our snowman was a little scary looking, but we got 'er done. : )
The little neighbor kids who had been out playing with us had left for school by this point, and Halie suddenly realized just how cold she was and they both wanted nothing more to do with the snow, lol!
On Halloween the kids and I played a little game that I found online as part of our school time.
We each colored a pumpkin...
And then rolled a dice to add each part of the face.
Whoever got their face completed first was the winner.
Which was Burl...both times! He was very happy about it, Halie not so much. She's very competitive. : )
After playing a few rounds of it, we glued on the pieces and hung them on the fridge.
That quick synopsis finishes up October. I'm tryin' to keep up people, I really am! :)
